This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) describes prohibited conduct and content in connection with WhistleStop HQ (the “Service”). This Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service. We may investigate suspected violations of this Policy and may remove content, suspend access, terminate accounts, preserve records, or cooperate with law enforcement or regulatory authorities where appropriate.
These restrictions apply to content and activity generated directly by users or through AI-assisted outputs produced by the Service.
Political and Election Misuse
You may not use the Service to:
- impersonate any real person, or create, generate, distribute, facilitate, or promote deceptive synthetic media, including AI-generated audio, video, images, or voice cloning that falsely depicts or imitates a real individual;
- engage in voter suppression, voter intimidation, or unlawful interference with election administration or civic processes;
- create, distribute, facilitate, or promote false or misleading information about when, where, or how to vote, or about voter eligibility;
- create or distribute fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading political communications, including communications that falsely represent their source, sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation;
- conduct fraudulent fundraising, impersonate campaigns or political organizations, or solicit donations through deceptive means;
- violate applicable election, campaign-finance, political advertising, robocall, consumer-protection, or communications laws and regulations.
Fraud, Harassment, and Harmful Conduct
You may not use the Service to:
- engage in unlawful harassment, threats, abusive conduct, hate speech, or defamatory activity directed at any person or group;
- incite violence, encourage unlawful activity, or promote terrorism or violent extremism;
- engage in coordinated inauthentic behavior, automated deception, artificial amplification, or other manipulative activity intended to mislead the public or distort political discourse;
- send unsolicited, unlawful, deceptive, or abusive communications, including spam, phishing attempts, unlawful robocalls, or messages sent without legally required consent;
- use the Service to engage in unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive activity.
Privacy and Data Misuse
You may not use the Service to:
- misuse voter, donor, volunteer, supporter, constituent, or other personal information;
- upload, process, or distribute personal information without appropriate rights, consent, authorization, or other lawful basis;
- violate privacy, publicity, data protection, or confidentiality rights.
Users remain solely responsible for all content, communications, outreach, fundraising, and campaign activity generated, distributed, or facilitated through the Service.
Security and Platform Abuse
You may not use the Service to:
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, accounts, systems, networks, or data;
- interfere with, disrupt, degrade, overload, or damage the Service or related infrastructure;
- upload malware, ransomware, spyware, malicious code, or other harmful software;
- use the Service to distribute spam, phishing content, or malicious communications;
- scrape, harvest, extract, or collect data from the Service through automated means without authorization;
- reverse engineer, probe, scan, or attempt to discover source code, models, security mechanisms, or underlying systems associated with the Service;
- bypass, disable, or circumvent safety features, usage restrictions, monitoring systems, or moderation controls implemented by the Service;
- share accounts or credentials in violation of account restrictions or security requirements;
- use the Service in violation of applicable third-party platform, infrastructure, payment processor, or AI-provider policies.
Intellectual Property and Unauthorized Commercial Use
You may not use the Service to:
- upload, generate, distribute, or facilitate content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights;
- resell, sublicense, white-label, misrepresent, or commercially exploit the Service without authorization;
- use the Service on behalf of third parties in a manner not authorized by WhistleStop.
Reporting and Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this Policy and to take any action we reasonably determine is necessary to protect the Service, users, third parties, or the public, including removal of content, suspension or termination of access, cooperation with legal authorities, or disclosure of information as permitted or required by law.
